TAILLAMP Reinforcement Install And Weld In - Ar63.20-P-2011-03ME (Model 167.1)

Model 167.1 

The following operation steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle. In case of damage on the right side of the vehicle, these steps must be performed analogously.

The higher-level service document as well as the safety information in the service document must be observed.

1. Install rear lamp reinforcement (2) and water drain plate (1), fit, and fix in place.
2. Drill rivet holes with a 6.7 mm diameter in rear lamp reinforcement (2) and water drain plate (1) (areas A, B).
3. Countersink rivet holes (area B).
4. Remove rear lamp reinforcement (2) and water drain plate (1).
5. Deburr rivet holes on rear lamp reinforcement (2), water drain plate (1), and body on both sides.
6. Coat insides of riveted joints with zinc dust paint.

7. Install rear lamp reinforcement (2) and fix in place.
8. Rivet rear lamp reinforcement (2) with countersunk-head rivets with a diameter of 6.4x14.0 (area C).
9. Rivet rear lamp reinforcement (2) and water drain plate (1) with 6.4x12 diameter rivets (areas D).
10. Rivet rear lamp reinforcement (2) and water drain plate (1) with 6.5x12.5 diameter rivets (area E).
11. Water drain plate (1) (areas F).
12. Water drain plate (1) (area G).
13. Water drain plate (1) (area H).
