| 1 | Clean Mercedes star (1). | ||
| Cleaner | *BR00.45-Z-1025-04A | ||
| 2 | Fasten suitable cup suction tool to Mercedes star (1). | ||
| 3 | Turn Mercedes star (1) using the cup suction tool by approx. 15° in the direction of the arrow and remove from the radiator grille (2). | ||
| 4 | Disconnect electrical connector on Mercedes star (1). | Model 167 with code 233 (Adaptive cruise control Plus (DISTRONIC PLUS)) |

| 5 | Connect electrical connector to the Mercedes star (1). | Model 167 with code 233 (Adaptive cruise control Plus (DISTRONIC PLUS)) |

| 6 | Insert Mercedes star (1) into the radiator grille (2) as shown with the catch hooks (arrows) and turn by approx. 15° using the cup suction tool in the opposite direction to the arrow. | ||
| 7 | Remove cup suction tool. |
