| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Open cover of armrest at center console (1). | ||
| 2 | Remove insert (2) and remove nuts (3). | ||
| 3 | Unclip cover (4) and remove screws (5). | ||
| 4 | Unclip covers (6) and remove screws (7). | ||
| 5 | Slide center console (1) to rear approx. 2 cm with lines connected. | ||
| 6 | Remove A-pillar trim on front passenger side. | AR68.30-P-4050ME | |
| 7 | Detach ground line of on-board electrical system battery. | AR54.10-P-0003ME | |
| 8 | Remove glove box. | AR68.10-P-1400ME | |
| 9 | Remove display module. | AR54.30-P-6023ME | |
| 10 | Remove screws (8). | ||
| 11 | Unclip air duct (9) from instrument panel (10) and from crossmember and place to one side. | ||
| 12 | Disconnect electrical connectors (11). | ||

| 14 | Remove nuts (13). | *BA91.60-P-1002-01R | |
| 15 | Carefully pull trim (14) toward rear (arrow A) until the retaining lugs are extended out of the instrument panel (10). | ||
| 16 | Lift instrument panel (10) on front passenger side (arrow B) and move front passenger airbag (15) downwards. | ||
| 17 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
| 18 | Check Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) using vehicle diagnosis system. | ||
