	Risk of fire and explosion  caused by ignition of window washing fluid or antifreeze and their vapors. Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing window washing fluid or antifreeze or inhaling their vapors. Risk of injury  or physical irritations caused by contact of window washing fluid or antifreeze with eyes, mucous membranes or skin.	Wear protective clothing and tight-fitting safety glasses. No open flames, fire or ignition sources. Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes and skin. When working with window washing fluids or antifreeze, do not eat, drink, or smoke. Do not inhale vapors and ensure sufficient ventilation in the working area. Store window washing fluid and antifreeze leakfree in safely closed original containers and out of the reach of children. 	Remove/install
1	Unclip filler neck (2) (arrow B) and remove line (3).	It is not possible to separate the filler neck (2) from the washer fluid reservoir (1).
2	Remove left front wheel and tire assembly.		AR40.10-P-1102MFA
3	Remove front section of left front fender liner.	Model 118, 177, 247 with engine 260, 282, 608, 654	AR88.10-P-1301MFA

4	Release and disconnect electrical connector from windshield washer system washer fluid level switch (S42).	The windshield washer system washer fluid level switch (S42) is welded together with the washer fluid reservoir (1).
5	Remove line (3) along washer fluid reservoir (1).	Dismantling tool	Fig 1
6	Remove electrical wiring harness from washer fluid reservoir (1).
7	Remove windshield washer system pump (M5/1) with connected lines and place to one side.	Do not crush or kink or subject lines to tension. This will result in damage to the lines which may impair their functional capability. Collect escaping washer fluid in a suitable container Check seal of windshield washer system pump (M5/1). If there are problems, ↓ Replace seal of windshield washer system pump (M5/1).	AR82.35-P-6002MFA
8	Unscrew bolt (4).	Bolt, washer fluid reservoir to frond end	*BA82.35-P-1001-01B
9	Remove washer fluid reservoir (1).	Ensure that the elastomer bearing (5) is seated correctly in the guide. Coat elastomer bearing (5) with lubricant paste. Antifriction paste, rubber parts 2.5 kg, DBL 6867.00	*BR00.45-Z-1002-06A
10	Install in the reverse order.
11	Correct fluid level of windshield washer system.

12	Check windshield washer system for proper operation.
