REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove steering wheel electronics (N135) with lower multifunction steering wheel button group 1 (S163/3) and lower multifunction steering wheel button group 2 (S163/4).   AR82.90-P-0100FRB 
2 Unclip instrument cluster multifunction steering wheel button group (S163/1) or head unit multifunction steering wheel button group (S163/2). SPECIAL TOOL Long wedge Fig 1
3 Release and disconnect electrical connector and remove instrument cluster multifunction steering wheel button group (S163/1) or head unit multifunction steering wheel button group (S163/2). NOTES
Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension.
This will result in damage to the electric lines and can impair their function.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Ensure that routing of lines is correct.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Ensure that the electrical connectors are engaged correctly.
IMPORTANT Replace instrument cluster multifunction steering wheel button group (S163/1) and head unit multifunction steering wheel button group (S163/2) as a set only.
 
4 Install in the reverse order.
