Install Exit And Warning Lamp With Logo Projector On Front Door - AZ82.20-P-0020-04C

The following work procedure describes retrofitting on the left side of the vehicle. Retrofitting on the right side of the vehicle is performed in the same way.
- Attach contact socket of vehicle wiring harness to contact socket (3.1) of adapter line (3).
- Attach contact socket (3.2) of adapter line (3) to exit and warning lamp with logo projector (1).
- Switch on entrance and exit illumination at overhead control panel control unit.
The heat sink fitted to the exit and warning lamp with logo projector (1) gets very hot.
If the exit and warning lamp with logo projector (1) do not light up,

exchange contact cavity assignment of electric lines on contact socket (3.2) of adapter line (3).
The appropriate tool is available in the
basic wiring harness repair kit or the
- Switch off entrance and exit illumination at overhead control panel control unit.
- Install exit and warning lamp with logo projector (1) into cutout of door trim.
Do not pinch or crush vehicle wiring harness (2) and adapter line (3).
Otherwise, the vehicle wiring harness (2) or the adapter line (3) may be damaged and system failures may occur.
Install exit and warning lamp with logo projector (1) with the white lens facing downward. Ensure that catch hooks (arrows) are seated and engaged correctly in the door trim.
