The next steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle. In case of damage on the right side of the vehicle, these steps must be performed analogously.

The safety information in the superordinate service document must be observed.
- Install rear outer wheel well (1), fit, and fix in place.
- Drill rivet holes in outer rear wheel well (1) with Ø 6.7 mm (areas A).
- Remove rear outer wheel well (1).
- Deburr rear outer wheel well (1) and body on both sides.
- Remove drill chips.
- Coat insides of rivet holes with zinc dust paint.
- Apply 2-component adhesive in cross-hatched areas on body.
Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces and manufacturer's specifications for drying and processing time of 2-component adhesive.
- Install rear outer wheel well (1), fit, and fix in place.
- Rivet outer rear wheel well (1) with rivets Ø 6.4x12 mm (area B).
- Rear outer wheel well (1)
(areas C, D1 , D2 , E, F, G, H).
- Install connecting panel (2), fit, and fix in place.

- Rivet outer rear wheel well (1) with rivets Ø 6.4x12 mm (area K).
