| 1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 2 | Detach ground line of on-board electrical system battery. | AR54.10-P-0003MFA | |
| 3 | Move front seat at left or right to foremost position. | ||
| 4 | Remove lower B-pillar trim. | AR68.30-P-4705MFA | |
| 5 | Release electrical connector (l) and disconnect. | ||
| 6 | Unscrew screw (2) and remove side airbag sensor (3). | ||

| 7 | Install in the reverse order. |
