| 1 | Detach ground line of on-board electrical system battery. | AR54.10-P-0003MFA | |

| 3 | Insert pliers through openings (arrows A) to press tabs (arrows B) together and then remove retaining clips (4). | ||
| 4 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (2) from left window airbag squib (R12/22) or right window airbag squib (R12/23). | Fig 2 | |

| 6 | Remove window airbag (1) and place on a suitable surface. | Handle window airbag (1) carefully. Otherwise, the remaining interior equipment or paint may be damaged. | |
| 7 | Install in the reverse order. | ||

| 8 | Check Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) using vehicle diagnosis system. | If the window airbag (1) is replaced. | |
