Do not touch the coupling medium of the rain and light sensor with additional functions (B38/2). Do not soil the coupling medium.

Otherwise damage and malfunctions can occur.

Preparation 

1. Clean windshield in area of rain and light sensor with additional functions (B38/2).

   The windshield must be free of residue and dry in the area of the rain and light sensor with additional functions (B38/2).

   Otherwise, the rain and light sensor with additional functions (B38/2) may be damaged or malfunction.

2. Remove transport protection cap of rain and light sensor with additional functions (B38/2).

   Installation 

3. Align rain and light sensor with additional functions (B38/2) at holder (1) of windshield and clip in.

   Always replace rain and light sensor with additional functions (B38/2).

   The rain and light sensor with additional functions (B38/2) must audibly engage in the holder (1) twice.

   Check 

4. Check rain and light sensor with additional functions (B38/2) for correct seating.

   The retaining clamps must be properly engaged (arrows a), and the conductor track (arrow b) must lie smoothly on the windshield.
