The following operation steps are shown on model 177.0.

1. Grind mating surfaces at rear roof paneling (1) down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas (areas A, B).

2. Drill holes for plug welding in rear roof paneling (1) with ø 6.7 mm (area C).

   

   Transfer holes from old part.

3. Deburr holes for plug welding at rear roof paneling (1) on both sides.
4. Remove grinding dust and drill chips.
5. Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.

   Do not coat bonding surfaces with zinc dust paint (areas A, B).

   Otherwise adhesion problems can occur.

   

   Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.
