1. Mark cut point on main floor (1) and disconnect (area G₁ ).

   

   Transfer separation point from vehicle.

2. Mark corner in main floor (1) (areas G_2a and G_3a ).

   

   Transfer separation point from vehicle.

3. Mark corner in main floor (1) (areas G_2b and G_3b ).

   Dimensions:

   f = approx. 20 mm

4. Disconnect corner in the main floor (1) (areas G_2b and G_3b )^.

5. Grind main floor (1) down to bare metal in the cross-hatched areas.
6. Remove grinding dust.
7. Coat cross-hatched areas with zinc dust paint.

   Do not coat bonding surfacers with zinc dust paint (area I).

   Otherwise adhesion problems can occur.

   

   Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.
