MODIFICATION NOTES

Install valve stem seals (5) with gray seal on the exhaust side and with black seal on the intake side.
Install the valve stem seals (5) without a double lip (Picture A) on the intake side and the valve stem seals (5) with a double lip (Picture B) on the exhaust side.

Use pliers (07) to pull off valve stem seals (5).
Fit protective sleeve onto the valve stem.

Coat valve stem seals (5) with engine oil.
Install valve stem seals (5) with gray seal on the exhaust side and with black seal on the intake side.

Install the valve stem seals (5) without a double lip (Picture A) on the intake side and the valve stem seals (5) with a double lip (Picture B) on the exhaust side.

Install new valve stem seals (5).
Press valve stem seals (5) with drift (08) up to the end stop.
Remove protective sleeve from the valve stem.
