- Expose strapped down branch-off line (arrow M) for rear dashcam.
- Expose black plug (8.1) of dashcam wiring harness (8).
To do this, remove the fabric tape (41) and pocket (40) from dashcam wiring harness (8).
- Route branch-off line for rear dashcam of dashcam wiring harness (8) from vehicle interior fuse and relay module (F152/4) to A-pillar at top.
Route dashcam wiring harness (8) through cable duct behind crossmember for instrument panel.
Route branch-off line for dashcam at rear above the window airbag (30).
Use a pull-through device.
- Route branch-off line for rear dashcam of dashcam wiring harness (8) on roof lining towards rear up to center of roof lining.
On vehicles with code 413 (Panoramic sliding roof/glass roof)
Route branch-off line for dashcam at rear behind mount for rear coat hook (arrow).
On vehicles without code 413 (Panoramic sliding roof/glass roof)
Route dashcam wiring harness (8) in front area at the same level. Route branch-off line for dashcam at rear behind mount for rear grab handle.
- Strap down extended lengths of dashcam wiring harness (8) in front passenger footwell.
- Fasten dashcam wiring harness (8) on roof lining using felt adhesive tape.

- Route dashcam wiring harness (8) by dimension (a) beyond edge of cutout for additional brake lamp in roof lining (b).
