Routing diagram
- Route dashcam wiring harness (8) from front dashcam mount (8.15) under roof lining toward the right to A-pillar.
- Fasten ferrite cores (8.2) of dashcam wiring harness (8) to roof lining using felt tape.
- Route dashcam wiring harness (8) above window airbag (30) into footwell.
Route dashcam wiring harness (8) through cable duct behind crossmember for instrument panel.
Use a pull-through device.
- Route and connect ground line (8.3) of dashcam wiring harness (8) to front right footwell ground point (W15).
- Route two single lines (GN, RD) of dashcam wiring harness (8) to vehicle interior fuse and relay module (F152/4) at right.
- Remove electrical fuse (29) from slot 124 (arrow) of vehicle interior fuse and relay module (F152/4).
The electrical fuse (29) is reused.
The fuse rating of the electrical fuse (29) is 20 A.
- Release fuse holder (30) of vehicle interior fuse and relay module (F152/4) (arrows) and remove.
- Remove red/yellow line (20) from contact cavity "5" (arrow) of fuse holder (30).
Take appropriate tool from the
basic wiring harness repair kit or the
- Install blue/white line (BU/WH) of dashcam wiring harness (8) into fuse holder (10).
- Install removed red/yellow line (20) into free contact cavity of fuse holder (10).
- Install green line (GN) into contact cavity "5" (arrow) of fuse holder (30).
- Install electrical fuse (11) included in parts kit into fuse holder (10).
The fuse rating of the electrical fuse (11) is 25 A.
- On veh. except code 299 (PRE-SAFE), except code 413 (Panoramic sliding sunroof/glass roof), except code 459 (Steel suspension with adjustable damping), except code U67 (230 V socket in rear passenger compartment), except code U80 (115 V socket)
Install fuse holder (26) in empty space "M3D" (arrow F) in vehicle interior fuse and relay module (F152/4).
- Install red line (RD) of dashcam wiring harness (8) into contact cavity "4" (arrow G) of fuse holder (26).
- Lock fuse holder (30) on vehicle interior fuse and relay module (F152/4) again.

- Fasten fuse holder (10) using a cable tie.
- Fasten red line (RD) of dashcam wiring harness (8) using a cable tie.
- Install electrical fuse (29) into slot 124 (arrow A) of vehicle interior fuse and relay module (F152/4).
The electrical fuse (29) was removed beforehand.
The fuse rating of the electrical fuse (29) is 20 A.
- Install electrical fuse (12) included in parts kit into slot 116 (arrow B) of vehicle interior fuse and relay module (F152/4).
The fuse rating of the electrical fuse (12) is 5 A.
- Insert black plug (8.1) of Dashcam wiring harness (8) into pocket (40) made of felt.
- Fasten pocket (40) to Dashcam wiring harness (8) using fabric tape (41).
- Tie branch-off line (arrow M) for dashcam at rear, and fasten at right next to vehicle interior fuse and relay module (F152/4) using cable tie.
