Use tools as follows:

• Engine 133, 139, 152.9, 157, 176, 177, 178, 256.9, 260, 264, 270, 274, 276, 278

  

  Extractor (01)

• Engine 256.8

  

  Extraction tool

  

  Do not use sharp-edged tools.

  Otherwise the fuel injector (1) may be damaged and leaks and malfunctions may occur.

  1. Attach the extractor (01) or the pull-off device to the fuel injector (1).

     

     Press the extractor (01) or the pull-off device up to the end stop in retaining guide (2) of the fuel injector

  2. Turn fuel injector (1) with the extractor (01) or the pull-off device to and fro (arrows).

     

     Turning the fuel injector (1) back and forth causes it to loosen from the cylinder head.

  3. Remove fuel injector (1) with the extractor (01) or the pull-off device.

     Do not pull out fuel injector (1) with one sharp motion.

     Otherwise the fuel injector (1) may be damaged.
