Remove
- Install
holding device (01) and secure intermediate gear (3).
- Remove screw (1).
- Mark installation depth of bearing pin (2).
- Attach
puller (02) and remove bearing pin (2) with this.
- Remove timing chain (4) and remove intermediate gear (3) with
holding device (01).
Install
- Insert intermediate gear (3) into chain links of timing chain (4).
- Install
holding device (01) and secure intermediate gear (3).
- Insert bearing pin (2) and hammer in with
drift.
Do not hammer in bearing pin (2) too far. Cylinder head will otherwise be damaged.
Hammer in bearing pin (2) as far as marking.
- Tighten bolt (1)
and remove
holding device (01).
