| 3 | Drain off low-temperature circuit coolant. | AR09.41-P-6834MFG | |
| 4 | Remove screw/bolt (2). | *BA09.41-P-1011-01FA | |
| 5 | Remove screw (3). | *BA09.41-P-1006-01FA | |
| 6 | Remove coolant line (4) on charge air cooler (1). | AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ | |
| 7 | Seal exposed connections with suitable protective covers. | Fig 2 | |
| 8 | Open clamps (5). | *BA09.41-P-1003-01FA | |
| 9 | Secure charge air cooler (1) against falling down. | ||
| 10 | Remove holders (9). | *BA00.10-P-1002-04A | |
| 11 | Remove screws (7). | *BA09.41-P-1012-01FA | |
| 12 | Attach radiator guard plate. | ||
| Guard plate for radiator/condenser | WF58.50-P-0110-01A | ||
| 13 | Unclip brackets (11) and place wiring harness to one side. | ||
| 14 | Pull the charge air cooler (1) forwards and release and disconnect the electrical connector (10). | ||
| 15 | Remove the charge air cooler (1). | ||
| 16 | Check charge air cooler (1) for damage. | If the charge air cooler (1) is damaged: ↓ Replace charge air cooler (1). |

| 17 | Remove the holders (9) and the decoupling element (8) from the charge air cooler (1). | When installing a new charge air cooler (1). | |
