Prepare Panoramic Sliding Roof Frame For Installation - AR77.21-P-0801-02MFB

Model 243, 247 

with code 413 (Panoramic sliding sunroof/glass roof) 

1. Place panoramic sliding roof frame (1) on suitable subsurface with inside pointing upward.
2. Cut adhesive beads (2) on panoramic sliding sunroof frame (1) down to a remaining height of approx. 1 to 2 mm using a scraper.

   If panoramic sliding roof frame (1) is reused.

3. Completely cut back residues of spacers (3) and adhesive bead (2) present in this area.

   If panoramic sliding roof frame (1) is reused.

4. Remove cutting residues from panoramic sliding roof frame (1) with wet/dry vacuum cleaner.

   If panoramic sliding roof frame (1) is reused.

5. Clean bonding surfaces on panoramic sliding roof frame (1).

   

   The cleaner is included in the repair kit.

   

   Apply cleaner only to bonding surfaces and allow to air-dry completely. It is not necessary to prime the bonding surfaces.

6. Install new spacers (3) as shown.
7. Apply activator to bonding surfaces on panoramic sliding roof frame (1).

   

   The activator is included in the repair kit.
