Prepare Panoramic Sliding Roof Frame Body Flange For Installation - AR77.21-P-0801-03MFB

Model 243, 247 

with code 413 (Panoramic sliding sunroof/glass roof) 

1. Cut adhesive beads (1) on body flange (2) down to a remaining height of approx. 1 to 2 mm using a scraper.
2. Remove cutting residues from body flange (2).
3. Repair paintwork damage at body flange (2).

   

   Use only primer filler approved by Daimler AG: http://xentryportal.i.daimler.com

4. Clean adhesive beads (1) on body flange (2) with cleaner.

   

   The cleaner is included in the repair kit.

5. Apply activator to body flange (2).

   Apply activator only after drying has dried.

   Otherwise the strength of the adhesive connection can be impaired and proper adhesion of the adhesive material is not ensured.

   

   The activator is included in the repair kit.
