Drain off
- Remove filling screw (3).
- Remove drain screw (2) and collect hypoid gear oil in a suitable container.
- Remove sealing ring of drain screw (2).
Pour in
- Clean thread of drain screw (2) and filling screw (3) in housing of transfer case (1) free of grease using Loctite 7063 cleaning spray.
- Attach sealing ring on drain screw (2).
Replace seal.
- Screw in drain screw (2) and tighten to specified torque
- Fill hypoid gear oil using
hand pump
.
- Coat first pitch of thread of filling screw (3) with Omnifit 100H quick-acting adhesive.
- Screw in filling screw (3) and tighten to specified torque
