Prepare Vehicle For Checking/Correcting Headlamp Adjustment - AP82.10-P-8260-10L

Model 167 

1. For checking or correcting the headlamp adjustment, the vehicle must  be correctly positioned on the headlamp adjustment station and the vehicle must be in a ready-to-drive condition.

   Vehicle in ready-to-drive condition means:

   Correct tire pressure,

   Correctly calibrated vehicle level including zero position adjustment,

   Steering is in straight-ahead position.

   The vehicle must be unladen.

   Identify chassis variants 

   Check if steel springs are installed at front and rear axle or using the data card.

   Preparatory activity 

2. Close doors.
3. Activate "Comfort" mode.

   Vehicle level button (4) is at "normal level", LED does not light up.

Press vehicle level button (4) three times within 5 s, LED flashes.

The calibrated vehicle level is automatically reset after a change in ignition status or vehicle speed 2 km/h.

Once the vehicle has moved all the way to the raised level,

drive the vehicle at a vehicle speed of ≥ 2 km/h.
