	Remove/install
1	Mark installation position of upper B-pillar hinge leaf (2.1) and upper rear door hinge leaf (2.2) on left or right side of vehicle.
2	Release upper B-pillar trim and place to one side.		AR68.30-P-4700ME
3	Support rear door using suitable means and fix in place.	Support rear door and fix in place. Otherwise the rear door can be damaged.
4	Remove cover (7).
5	Remove screw (8).	Bolt at hinge leaf connection	*BA72.12-P-1005-01K
6	Remove screws (6) and remove top rear door hinge leaf (2.2).	Screw/bolt, hinge to rear door	*BA72.12-P-1002-01K
7	Carefully pull seat belt to the side until nuts (10) are accessible.
8	Unscrew nuts (10) and remove upper B-pillar hinge leaf (2.1).	Bolt/nut, hinge to B-pillar	*BA72.12-P-1003-01K
9	Install in the reverse order.
	Check
10	Check gap dimensions of rear door; adjust rear door if necessary.		AR72.12-P-0650ME

12	Protect rear door and B-pillar in area of upper B-pillar hinge leaf (2.1) and upper rear door hinge leaf (2.2) against corrosion.	Cavity preservation following repair work	AR97.20-P-1500ME
	Risk of explosion and poisoning  caused by solvent vapors and gasses. 13	Protect rear door and B-pillar in area of upper B-pillar hinge leaf (2.1) and upper rear door hinge leaf (2.2) against corrosion; remove excessive wax.	Wax for engine compartment (400 ml spray can)	*BR00.45-Z-1018-05A
