Remove/Install Front Passenger Door Upper Hinge - AR72.10-P-0005ME

	Remove
1	Remove front passenger door.		AR72.10-P-0500ME
2	Mark installation position of hinge leaf (1.1) and hinge support (1.2).	The upper hinge consists of hinge leaf (1.1) and hinge support (1.2).
3	Remove screws (2) and remove hinge leaf (1.1).
4	Remove instrument panel.		AR68.10-P-1000ME
5	Place electric lines to one side until the nuts (3) are accessible.	Do not crush or kink or subject lines to tension This will result in damage to the lines which may impair their functional capability.
6	Unscrew nuts (3) and remove hinge support (1.2).	Press damping if necessary to the side.
	Install
7	Clean contact surfaces in area of hinge supports.	Cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1025-04A
8	Align hinge leaf (1.1) based on the previously applied makings with the front passenger door and tighten screws (2) slightly by hand.
9	Align hinge support (1.2) by means of the previously applied markings and slightly tighten nuts (3) by hand.
10	Install front passenger door.		AR72.10-P-0500ME
11	Close front passenger door and open.	The installation position of the passenger door may change later due to opening and closing.
	Check
12	Check gap dimensions on front passenger door, adjust if necessary.		AR72.10-P-0550ME
13	Tighten screws (2) and nuts (3).	Helper required. Bolt/nut, hinge to A-pillar	*BA72.10-P-1003-01O
		Screw/bolt, hinge to front door	*BA72.10-P-1002-01O
14	Repair paint damage at the respective bolt heads and nuts.	Overview of MB materials and how they are processed	AR98.00-P-0150CW

15	Protect front passenger door and A-pillar in the area of the hinge leaf (1.1) and hinge support (1.2) against corrosion; remove excess wax.	Wax for engine compartment (400 ml spray can)	*BR00.45-Z-1018-05A
16	Fasten electric lines again.
17	Install instrument panel.		AR68.10-P-1000ME
