| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 2 | Unclip cover (1) upward. | Do not crush or kink or subject lines to tension. This will result in damage to the lines which may impair their functional capability. |

| 3 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (2). | ||
| 4 | Unclip rear left power window assembly switch (S21/3) and rear right power window assembly switch (S21/4) from cover (1). | ||
| Check | |||
| 5 | Check catch hooks of cover (1) for damage. | If damage is present, ↓ Replace cover (1). |

| 6 | Install in the reverse order. |
