| 1 | Mark installation position of the bottom B-pillar hinge leaf (1.1) and bottom rear door hinge leaf (1.2) on the left and right side of the vehicle using suitable means. | ||
| 2 | Remove front reversible emergency tensioning retractor (A76 or A76/1) from the B-pillar. | AR91.40-P-1010ME | |
| 3 | Support rear door using suitable means and fix in place. | Support rear door and fix in place. Otherwise the rear door can be damaged. |

| 4 | Remove cover (4). | ||

| 6 | Remove screws (3) and remove bottom rear door hinge leaf (1.2). | *BA72.12-P-1002-01K | |
| 7 | Remove nuts (9) and remove bottom B-pillar hinge leaf (1.1). | *BA72.12-P-1003-01K | |
| 8 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
