| 1 | Connect diagnostic unit and read out data for takeover. | If the rear mobile phone cradle control unit (N123/10) is replaced. | |

| 2 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 3 | Fold armrest (1) upward. | ||
| 4 | Unclip and remove cover (2). | ||
| 5 | Remove screw/bolts (3). | ||
| 6 | Unclip mobile phone cradle (4) with faceplate (5) and lift until the electrical connectors (6, 7, 8) are accessible. | Fig 1 | |
| 7 | Release and disconnect electrical connectors (6, 7, 8) and remove mobile phone cradle (4) with faceplate (5) from vehicle. | ||
| 8 | Remove screws (9) and remove faceplate (5). | ||
| 9 | Remove rubber mounting (10). | ||
| 10 | Remove screws (11). | ||
| 11 | Remove mobile phone cradle (4) with rear passenger compartment mobile phone cradle control unit (N123/10) upwards (arrow A) from lower part (12) and guide out electrical wiring harness (13) while doing so. | ||
| 12 | Release and disconnect electrical connectors (14) and place electrical wiring harness to one side. | ||
| 13 | Remove screws (15) and remove rear passenger compartment mobile phone cradle control unit (N123/10) from mobile phone cradle (4). | ||
| 14 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
| 15 | Commission rear mobile phone cradle control unit (N123/10). | If the rear mobile phone cradle control unit (N123/10) is replaced. | |
