| 1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 2 | Open engine hood and position upright. | ||
| 3 | Remove left front wheel and tire assembly. | AR40.10-P-1102ME | |
| 4 | Remove rear section of fender liner in left front fender. | AR88.10-P-1301ME | |
| 5 | Drain washer fluid and collect in a suitable container. | ||
| 6 | Release and disconnect washer fluid hoses (1 at windshield washer system pump (M5/1). | ||
