Remove/Install Trim Strip Behind Rear Seat - AR68.30-P-1460MEM

Model 167.9 

With Code M036 (Maybach version) 

Shown on left side of vehicle With Code 224 (Design individual rear seat system)

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove C-pillar trim.   AR68.30-P-4490MEX 
2 Adjust seat backrests in the rear passenger compartment to the foremost position.    
3 Unclip trim strip (1), disconnect the electrical connector for the ambient lighting, and remove trim strip (1). SPECIAL TOOL Long wedge Fig 1
4 Remove screw (2).    
5 Unclip trim strip (3), disconnect the electrical connector for the ambient lighting, and remove trim strip (3). SPECIAL TOOL Long wedge Fig 1
6.1 Fold down the stowage compartment cover (4). Model 167.9 with code 224 (Rear individual seat design) with code M036 (Maybach version)  
6.2 Fold down the armrest. Model 167.9 with code M036 (Maybach version) except code 224 (Rear individual seat design)  
7 Remove screw (5). IMPORTANT Model 167.9 with code M036 (Maybach version) except code 224 (Rear individual seat design)
The trim strip (7) is attached with one screw each on the left and right sides of the vehicle (5).
Remove trim strips (1, 3) on both sides of the vehicle in order to provide access to the screws (5).
 
8 Remove screw (6). Model 167.9 with code 224 (Rear individual seat design) with code M036 (Maybach version)  
9 Remove the seat belt end fitting of the lap belt in the rear passenger compartment. Model 167.9 with code M036 (Maybach version) except code 224 (Rear individual seat design) AR91.40-P-0683MEM
10 Unclip trim strip (7), disconnect the electrical connector for the ambient lighting, and remove trim strip (7). IMPORTANT Model 167.9 with code M036 (Maybach version) except code 224 (Rear individual seat design) There is an electrical connector on both the left and the ride sides of the trim strip (7).
SPECIAL TOOL Long wedge

11 Install in the reverse order.
