- Remove screw/bolt (3) Engine 176 in model 463 as of model year 2019
Engine 176 in model 167
- Place piping for inerting (4) to one side.
- Unclip engine wiring harness and electric line of right lambda sensor upstream of catalytic converter (G3/4) at heat shield (1) and place to one side.
- Remove screw/bolts (2)
- Remove heat shield (1) upwards.
- Check elastomer bearings of heat shield (1) for damage.
If a problem arises

Replace elastomer bearing.
- Install in the reverse order.
