	Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof.	No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area when the components are moving.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
	Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts	Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts. Deburr repair panels.	AS00.00-Z-0017-01A
	Remove
1	Remove left and right outside mirror.		AR88.70-P-9000ME
2	Remove left and right side window.		AR67.30-P-0008ME
3	Remove rear section (A) of seal (1) from window guide.
4	Remove screw/bolts (2).
5	Slide trim (3) upwards and remove towards rear from window frame.
6	Remove front section (B) of seal (1) from window guide.
7	Detach section (D) over the door edge.
8	Remove section (C) from door frame and remove seal (1).
	Clean
9	Clean contact surfaces of seal (1) at front door.	Assembly cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1028-04A
	Check
10	Check seal (1) for damage.	When reusing the sealing (1). If damage is present, ↓ Replace seal (1).
	Install
11	Slide on seal (1) starting at corner points (D, E).	The corner point (D) must be flush with the top edge of the door.
12	Apply lubricant on upper section (C) of seal (1).	Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 L	*BR00.45-Z-1010-06A
13	Position upper section (C) of seal (1) at window frame.	Handle seal (1) carefully. Seal (1) can bend very easily in upper section (C). If seal (1) is damaged ↓ Replace seal (1).
14	Slide trim (3) from above onto window frame.
15	Screw in screw/bolts (2).
16	Align seal (1) and insert upper section (C) into window frame.	Handle seal (1) carefully. Seal (1) can bend very easily in upper section (C).
		During alignment, ensure that seal (1) is flush with trim (3). If seal (1) is damaged ↓ Replace seal (1).
17	Coat rear section (A) of seal (1) that lies below the beltline after installation with soapy water.	Soap solution has the required lubrication characteristics for the installation.
18	Slide rear section (A) of seal (1) downward along rear edge of side window.
19	Coat remaining area of rear section (A) of seal (1) with lubricant and insert in trim (3).	Ensure that rear section (A) of seal (1) is in contact with trim (3) over the entire length without gap.
		Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 L	*BR00.45-Z-1010-06A
20	Coat front section (B) of seal (1) that lies below beltline after installation with soapy water.	Soap solution has the required lubrication characteristics for the installation.
21	Slide front section (B) of seal (1) downward at front edge of side window.
22	Wet remaining area of front section (B) of seal (1) with lubricant and slide into window guide.	Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 L	*BR00.45-Z-1010-06A
23	Install left or right side window.		AR67.30-P-0008ME
24	Install left and right outside mirror.		AR88.70-P-9000ME
