WARNING Risk of injury  to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning  from swallowing coolant. Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the overpressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

  Drain off     
1 Slowly unscrew the cap (1) for the coolant expansion reservoir (2) and reduce the overpressure.    
2 Remove front and center bottom engine compartment linings.   AR61.20-P-1105ME
3 Remove oil cooler (5) from fan unit and place to one side with connected lines.    
4 Attach drain hose to drain valve (6) and drain coolant via drain valve (6) into suitable container.    
  Pour in     
5 Close drain valve (6) and remove drain hose from drain valve (6).    
6 Attach oil cooler (5) to fan unit.    
7 Pour in coolant and bleed engine cooling system.   AR20.00-P-1142-04OLC

    Test pressure for pressure-testing the engine cooling system *BE20.30-P-1005-01A

INSPECT Check     
8 Check engine cooling system for leak tightness.   AR20.00-P-1011MRK 
9 Install lower engine compartment lining.   AR61.20-P-1105ME
RADIATOR OR EXPANSION RESERVOIR CAP
