Use Of Fine Polishing Paste - AP98.00-P-0638A

With high-gloss varnish paintwork 

  Application     
1 Wash and dry off vehicle. Use of car shampoo, insect and tar remover AP98.00-P-0635-01A

    Tar remover *BR00.45-Z-1020-04A 
    Insect remover *BR00.45-Z-1021-04A 
2 Buff out damage locally with a lambskin wheel and fine polishing paste.

NOTES
Guide the polishing machine (buffer) with light pressure and do not tilt it.
Failure to do so will result in so-called "buffer swirls".
IMPORTANT The rotational speed of the lambs wool disk should be between 1500 rpm and 2000 rpm, otherwise the polishing effect is inadequate.
IMPORTANT Use cork or rubber backing discs. Take care not to rub through the top coat film. Depending on the damage mode, roughen or grind the affected area beforehand with wet abrasive paper (P2000).

3 Buff up any visible polishing marks and the entire surface area of the part. IMPORTANT Using the Moltoprene disk without polishing agent. Keep buffing until the luster matches that of the adjacent surfaces.  
4 Rub off polish residues. IMPORTANT After drying, buff up with a polishing wad moistened with water.

5 Buff up the surface manually with polish and a polishing wad. IMPORTANT In order to make polishing work easier, use clean polishing wads or clean polishing cloth while changing them frequently.

6 Rub off polish residues. IMPORTANT After the drying process, a light film is formed on the treated surface. Buff up with a clean polishing wad moistened in water until the surface is clear.  
7 Treat the surface with gloss preserver. Use of gloss preserver
IMPORTANT Gloss preservation protects the paintwork against premature matting.
