1. Prepare bonding surfaces on insides of roof paneling rear section (1) in cross-hatched areas (areas A).

   Observe processing specifications of adhesive.

2. Grind mating surfaces in remaining cross-hatched areas on insides down to bare metal.

   Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

3. Remove grinding dust.
4. Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.

   Do not coat bonding surfaces with zinc dust paint (areas B).

   Otherwise adhesion problems may occur.

   Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.
