Front Roof Frame Installation - Ar65.20-P-1006-05ME

Model 167.1 

The following steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be accomplished analogously on the right side of the vehicle.

The higher-level service document as well as the safety information in the service document must be observed.

1. Install, fit and fix in place roof frame (1).
2. Drill rivet holes on mounting console (2) with Ø 6.7 mm (area D).
3. Remove roof frame (1).
4. Deburr rivet holes on roof frame (1) and the mounting console (2) on both sides.
5. Remove drilling chips.
6. Coat insides of riveted joints with zinc dust paint.

7. Install and fix in place roof frame (1).
8. Rivet the roof frame (1) with rivet Ø 6.5x12.5 (area E).
9. Roof frame (1) (area F).
10. The roof frame (1) and mounting console (2) (area G).

    Perform inert gas welding at intervals and allow to cool down in between. This reduces heat distortion.

11. Bend sheet metal lug (arrow).
