The following operation steps are shown on model 167.1 except code 414 (Sliding roof).

The higher-level service document as well as the safety information in the service document must be observed.

1. Install center roof paneling (1), fit with set of spacer blocks and fix in place.

   When removing, observe detected dimensions and positions of set of spacer blocks.

2. Drill rivet holes with a diameter of 6.7 mm through center roof paneling (1) (areas A).
3. Remove center roof paneling (1).
4. Deburr rivet holes on center roof paneling (1) and body on both sides.
5. Remove drilling chips.

6. Apply anti-flutter adhesive to roof frame (areas B).

   Observe processing specification for relining adhesive.

7. Apply 2-component adhesive on body in cross-hatched areas (areas C).

   Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces and manufacturer's specifications for drying and processing time of 2-component adhesive.

8. Apply lining adhesive to roof frame (areas D).

   Observe processing specification for relining adhesive.

9. Install center roof paneling (1), fit with set of spacer blocks and fix in place.

   When removing, observe detected dimensions and positions of set of spacer blocks.

10. Rivet center roof paneling (1) with 6.5x12.5 diameter rivets (areas E).
11. Rivet center roof paneling (1) with 6.4x12 diameter rivets (area F).
