	Check
1	Check gap dimensions on left or right rear door (1).		AR60.00-P-0900-01ME
		Front door to rear door	*BE60.00-P-1010-01LA

2	Check position of upper joint lip on side wall.	The joint lip must be in contact with the upper side wall when the rear door (1) is closed.
	Remove
3	Mark installation position of the lock striker (2) using suitable means to facilitate installation.
4	Remove screws (6) and remove lock striker (2).
5	Release front reversible emergency tensioning retractor (A76 or A76/1) from the front of the B-pillar and place to one side with connected electric line.		AR91.40-P-1010ME
		Do not separate seat belt from upper B-pillar trim (3).
	Adjust
6	Loosen nuts (4) and move rear door (1) to adjust the corresponding gap dimensions.		AR60.00-P-0900-01ME

7	Tighten nuts (4).	Bolt/nut, hinge to B-pillar	*BA72.12-P-1003-01K
8	Loosen screws (5) and move rear door (1) to adjust transition between rear door (1) and front door.	The contour of the front door (1) must be flush with the contour of the rear door or may project by a maximum of 1 mm.
9	Tighten bolts (5).	Screw/bolt, hinge to rear door	*BA72.12-P-1002-01K
10	Insert lock striker (2) and position screws (6) up to end stop.	It must still be possible to adjust the lock striker (2).
11	Move the lock striker (2) to adjust the transition between the rear door (1), the rear fender and the roof paneling.	The contour of the rear door (1) must be flush with the contours of the rear fender and roof paneling or may project by a maximum of 1 mm.
12	Tighten screws/bolts (6).	Bolt, lock striker to C-pillar	*BA72.12-P-1004-01K

15	Install front reversible emergency tensioning retractor (A76 or A76/1) on the front of the B-pillar.		AR91.40-P-1010ME
