The following steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be accomplished analogously on the right side of the vehicle.
The higher-level service document as well as the safety information in the service document must be observed.
- Install the roof frame (1) and mounting console (2), fit them and fix them in place.
- Drill rivet holes on mounting console (2) with Ø 6.7 mm (area A).
- Remove the roof frame (1) and mounting console (2).
- Drill rivet holes in mounting console (2) and deburr on body on both sides.
- Remove drilling chips.
- Coat insides of riveted joints with zinc dust paint.
- Install mounting console (2), fit and fix in place.
- Rivet mounting console (2) with rivet Ø 6.5x12.5 (area B).
- Mounting console (2)
