Install clamping plates (02, 03) in rear axle springs (1).
Ensure that
clamping plates (02, 03) are correctly seated.
Otherwise they may slip off.
Insert the clamping plates (02, 03) in such a way that as many spring coils as possible can be pre-compressed.
Insert tensioning device (01) into
clamping plates (02, 03).
Tensioning device (01) must latch audibly into
clamping plates (02, 03). Otherwise they may slip off.
- Only tension rear axle spring (1) far enough to enable it to be removed.
Do not use an impact wrench.
Otherwise, the
tensioning device (01) or the rear axle spring (1) may be damaged.
