Rear Wheel Well Section Installation - Ar63.10-P-0662-03ME

Model 167 

The following operation steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle on model 167.1. In case of damage on the right side of the vehicle, these steps must be performed analogously.

The higher-level service document as well as the safety information in the service document must be observed.

1. Install outer rear wheel well (1) section, fit and fix in place.
2. Drill rivet holes in outer rear wheel well section (1) with Ø 6.7 mm (area A).
3. Remove outer rear wheel well section (1).
4. Deburr rivet holes on outer rear wheel well section (1) and body on both sides.
5. Remove drilling chips.

6. Apply 2-component adhesive to outer rear wheel well section (1) in cross-hatched area.

   Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces and manufacturer's specifications for drying and processing time of 2-component adhesive.

7. Apply sealant to outer rear wheel well section (1) (area B).

8. Install outer rear wheel well section (1) and fix in place.
9. Rivet outer rear wheel well section (1) with rivets with a diameter of 6.4x12 (area C).
