Inner Side Wall And Outer Rear Wheelhouse Prepare For Installation - Ar63.10-P-6050-02MEX (Model 167.9)

Model 167.9 

The following operation steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle. In case of damage on the right side of the vehicle, these steps must be performed analogously.

The higher-level service document as well as the safety information in the service document must be observed.

1. Mark separating points on inner side wall (1) and cut (areas A, B).

   Transfer separation points from vehicle.

2. Cut off spot welds on inner side wall (1) (area C).
3. Remove remainder of inner sidewall (1).

4. Grind mating surfaces on inner side wall (1) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas.

   Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

5. Remove grinding dust.
6. Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.

   with code M036 (Maybach version)

   Grind mating surfaces on reinforcement (2) down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.

   Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

   Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
