Outer Rear Wheel Well Prepare For Installation - Ar63.10-P-0670-05MEX (Model 167.9)

Model 167.9 

The following operation steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle. In case of damage on the right side of the vehicle, these steps must be performed analogously.

The higher-level service document as well as the safety information in the service document must be observed.

1. Mark separating point on outer rear wheel well (1) and cut (area A).

   Transfer separation point from vehicle and add approx. 2 cm for overlap.

2. Grind mating surfaces on outer rear wheel well (1) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas.

   Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

   Grind bonding surface down to bare metal from inside (area B). Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces (area B).

3. Remove grinding dust.
4. Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
