Retrofit Exit And Warning Lamp With Logo Projector - AZ82.20-P-0020ME

Notice	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
	Remove
1	Switch off entrance and exit illumination at overhead control panel.
2	Remove left front door exit and warning lamp (E17/3), right front door exit and warning lamp (E17/4), left rear door exit and warning lamp (E17/5) and right rear door exit and warning lamp (E17/6).	Starting at the bottom, on the left side, unclip the exit and warning lamp on left front door (E17/3), exit and warning lamp on right front door (E17/4), exit and warning lamp on left rear door (E17/5) and the exit and warning lamp on the right rear door (E17/6). Otherwise, the electrical connector located on the right-hand side will be damaged. Long wedge	Fig 1
3	Remove black 2-pin connector from left front door exit and warning lamp (E17/3), right front door exit and warning lamp (E17/4), left rear door exit and warning lamp (E17/5) and right rear door exit and warning lamp (E17/6).	The exit and warning lamp on the left front door (E17/3), exit and warning lamp on right front door (E17/4), exit and warning lamp on left rear door (E17/5) and the exit and warning lamp on the right rear door (E17/6) are no longer required.
	Install
4	Install exit and warning lamp with logo projector (1) in front door on right and left.	If the entrance and exit illumination on the overhead control panel control unit is switched on, the exit and warning lamp with logo projector (1) lights up as soon as it is connected to the vehicle wiring harness. The heat sink fitted to the exit and warning lamp with logo projector (1) gets very hot.	AZ82.20-P-0020-04C

5	Install exit and warning lamp with logo projector (1) in rear door on right and left.		AZ82.20-P-0020-05B
		If the entrance and exit illumination on the overhead control panel control unit is switched on, the exit and warning lamp with logo projector (1) lights up as soon as it is connected to the vehicle wiring harness. 	Update Vehicle Documentation (VeDoc)
6	Attach note "Exit and warning lamp with logo projector retrofitted as per AZ82.20-P-0020ME" under field organization texts to DIG 72 and DIG 82.
	Check
7	Perform function test.	The entry and exit illumination on overhead control panel control unit must be switched on.
