	Remove
1	Connect diagnostic device and select vehicle using vehicle identification number.	Model 167 up to 11/30/21
			AD00.00-P-2000-06ME
2	Perform software update.	Model 167 up to 11/30/21 Left front door control unit. Right front door control unit. Left rear door control unit. Right rear door control unit.
3	Disconnect diagnostic unit.	Model 167 up to 11/30/21
			AD00.00-P-2000-06ME
4	Switch off warning and exit illumination at overhead control panel.
5	Remove left front door exit and warning lamp (E17/3), right front door exit and warning lamp (E17/4), left rear door exit and warning lamp (E17/5) and right rear door exit and warning lamp (E17/6).	Starting at the bottom, on the left side, unclip the exit and warning lamp on left front door (E17/3), exit and warning lamp on right front door (E17/4), exit and warning lamp on left rear door (E17/5) and the exit and warning lamp on the right rear door (E17/6). Otherwise, the electrical connector located on the right-hand side will be damaged. Long wedge	Fig 1
6	Remove black 2-pin connector from left front door exit and warning lamp (E17/3), right front door exit and warning lamp (E17/4), left rear door exit and warning lamp (E17/5) and right rear door exit and warning lamp (E17/6).	The exit and warning lamp on the left front door (E17/3), exit and warning lamp on right front door (E17/4), exit and warning lamp on left rear door (E17/5) and the exit and warning lamp on the right rear door (E17/6) are no longer required.
	Install
7	Install exit and warning lamp with animation projector (1) in front door door trim at left and right.	If the warning and exit illumination on the overhead control panel control unit is switched on, the exit and warning lamp with animation projector (1) lights up as soon as it is connected to the vehicle wiring harness. The heat sink fitted to the exit and warning lamp with animation projector (1) gets very hot.	AZ82.20-P-0030-01ME

8	Install exit and warning lamp with animation projector (1) in rear door door trim at left and right.	If the warning and exit illumination on the overhead control panel control unit is switched on, the exit and warning lamp with animation projector (1) lights up as soon as it is connected to the vehicle wiring harness. The heat sink fitted to the exit and warning lamp with animation projector (1) gets very hot.	AZ82.20-P-0030-02ME

	Update Vehicle Documentation (VeDoc)
9	Attach "Exit and warning lamp with animation projector retrofitted as per AZ82.20-P-0030ME" note under field organization texts to DIG 72 and DIG 82.
	Check
10	Perform function test.	The warning and exit illumination must be switched on at overhead control panel control unit.
