1. Cover front roller sun blind with clean rag.

   If panoramic sliding roof frame is reused.

   Do not soil roller sun blind when removing.

   Replace soiled roller sunblind.

2. Remove screws (2) on left and right mounting supports (1) and remove mounting supports (1).
3. Remove screws (4) of left and right stepped wedges (3) and remove stepped wedges (3).

   Shown on right side of vehicle

4. Remove electrical wiring harness (6) from basic carrier (7).
5. Remove nuts (5) of the basic carrier (7).

6. Measure dimensions (A and B) on left and right side of vehicle between panoramic sliding sunroof frame (8) and front roof rack mounts (9) and note down.

7. Protect adjacent pain surfaces against damage with shield plates and duct tape.

   Cover adjacent paint surfaces with shields when cutting.

   Otherwise the paint will be damaged.

8. Cut adhesive bead (11) on panoramic sliding sunroof frame (8) starting at the outside using a multicutter and cutting blade.
9. Lift rear area of panoramic sliding sunroof frame (8) with assembly wedge (13).
10. Guide cutting wire (12) from outside between panoramic sliding sunroof frame (8) and center roof frame (14) as shown.

    Helper required.

11. Cut side adhesive beads (15) in direction of arrow (arrows A) using cutting wire (12).
12. Guide cutting wire (12) from outside toward inside in area (B).

    Helper required.

13. Guide cutting wire (12) in area (C) under panoramic sliding sunroof frame (8).
14. Cut front adhesive beads (15) from left to right using cutting wire (12).

    Ensure that the inner components of the panoramic sliding roof frame (8) are not damaged.

    Otherwise, the panoramic sliding sunroof frame (8) must be replaced.

15. Remove panoramic sliding roof frame (8).

    Helper required.
