Remove Propeller Shaft Pilot Bushing - AR41.10-P-0250-02MFC

Model 118, 177, 247 

with code M005 (Vehicles with) 4MATIC/all-wtheel drive) 

Measure 

  1. Measure dimension (a) and note down for installation.

    IMPORTANT Depending on the version of the flex disk thickness, the specified dimension may deviate when installing.

    Remove 

  2. Pound pilot bushing (10) using flat chisel uniformly out of propeller shaft (arrow).

  3. Drill a hole 15 mm removed from the front side of the pilot bushing (10), (0 10 mm) at a right angle through the pilot bushing (10).

    If pilot bushing (10) is seized.

  4. Insert suitable drift through hole and pry pilot bushing (10) out of propeller shaft using two assembly levers.

    If pilot bushing (10) is seized.
