Prepare Body Flange For Rear Fixed Element Of Panoramic Sliding Sunroof For Installation - AR77.21-P-0802-03MFB

Model 243, 247 

with code 413 (Panoramic sliding sunroof/glass roof) 

1. Cut adhesive bead (3) at body flange (2) back to a residual height of approx. 1 to 2 mm using a scraper.
2. Fully cut back residues of spacers (1) and adhesive bead (3) present in this area.
3. Remove cutting residues from body flange (2) with wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
4. Repair paintwork damage at body flange (2).

   

   Use only primer filler approved by Daimler AG: http://xentryportal.i.daimler.com

5. Apply primer in gluing area if glue residues are not present.

   Apply primer only after primer has dried.

   Otherwise the strength of the adhesive connection can be impaired and proper adhesion of the adhesive material is not ensured.

   

   The primer is included in the repair kit.

6. After the primer has dried, glue new spacers (1) to body flange (2).
