| 1 | Remove left front engine compartment lining | AR61.20-P-1105FR | |
| 2 | Release and disconnect electrical connectors (2, 3) at AIR BODY CONTROL compressor (A9/1) | ||
| 3 | Unhook bracket (11) on AIR BODY CONTROL compressor (A9/1) | ||
| 4 | Open the bracket (5) and unhook air intake hose (4) | ||
| 5 | Detach air intake hose (4) from AIR BODY CONTROL compressor (A9/1) and seal openings using suitable stop plugs | Fig 4 | |
| 6 | Remove pressure line connection (6) on AIR BODY CONTROL compressor (A9/1) and sea openings using suitable stop plugs | Fig 4 | |
| 7 | Unscrew nuts (7) and remove AIR BODY CONTROL compressor (A9/1) downwards | ||
| Check | |||
| 8 | Check bracket (10) for damage | If a problem arises ↓ Replace bracket (10). |

| 9 | Check the elastomer bearings (8a) for damage and wear | If a problem arises ↓ Replace the elastomer bearings (8a). |

| 10 | Place shims (8b) and protective sleeve (8e) or elastomer bearings (8a) | ||
| 11 | Place elastomer bearings (8f) on protective sleeves (8g) | ||
| 12 | Fit compression springs (8d) on protective sleeves (8c, 8g) | ||
| 13 | Position protective sleeves (8c, 8g) with compression springs (8d) in elastomer bearings (8a) | ||
| 14 | Position AIR BODY CONTROL compressor (A9/1) and tighten nuts (7) | *BA32.22-P-1001-03I | |
| 15 | Remove all stop plugs | ||
| 16 | Mount compressed air line connection (6) onto AIR BODY CONTROL compressor (A9/1) | The thread on pressure line connection (6) must not be damaged. Otherwise, leaks will occur. |

| 20 | Plug electrical connectors (2, 3) onto AIR BODY CONTROL compressor (A9/1) and lock | ||
| 21 | Replace AIR BODY CONTROL relay | When replacing AIR BODY CONTROL compressor (A9/1). | |
| Assignment of engine fuse and relay module | GF54.15-P-1256-32FR | ||
