    Connecting

  5. Insert steering shaft (3) from above into lock (2) and slide in up to end stop (arrow e).

IMPORTANT The steering shaft (3) can only be inserted into the lock (2) in one position (arrows f and g).

The steering shaft (3) must slide into the lock (2) without any excessive force.

  6. Turn lock (2) in direction of arrow (arrow h) up to end stop.

    IMPORTANT Use leather gloves.

IMPORTANT The spring force pushes down the lock (2) so that it engages.

  7. Check whether the lock (2) is completely closed.

IMPORTANT The lock (2) is completely closed when the green marking in the check bores (5) is completely visible.

The pins (4) protrude by at least 0.5 mm all the way around and the lugs of the lock (2) make contact all the way round the steering shaft (3) (arrows i).

It should now no longer be possible to turn the lock (2) without a lifting movement.

    IMPORTANT Use leather gloves.
