REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove left trunk lining at side. Model 257
with code 235 (Active Parking Assist) except code 811 (High-End sound system)

2 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m).    
3 Remove subwoofer in trunk. Model 257

4 Unscrew screws (1), remove nuts (2), and remove holder (3) with sound system control unit and place to one side. Model 257

IMPORTANT Do not separate the electrical connectors.
 
5 Remove holder (4) with control units and place to one side. Model 257

IMPORTANT Do not separate the electrical connectors.
IMPORTANT The number of control units installed on the holder (4) can vary depending on the vehicle equipment installed.
 
6 Unscrew nut (6), unfasten screws (5), and remove holder (7) with control units and place to one side. Model 257

with code 881 (Remote boot-lid closing) If installed.
IMPORTANT Do not separate the electrical connectors.
IMPORTANT The number of control units installed on the holder (7) can vary depending on the vehicle equipment installed.
 
7 Release screws (8), then remove holder (9) with parking system control unit (N62) and place in vehicle.    
8 Release and disconnect electrical connectors from parking system control unit (N62). IMPORTANT The number of electrical connectors can vary depending on the vehicle equipment.  
9 Unclip parking system control unit (N62) from holder (9) (arrow) and remove.    
10 Install in the reverse order.    
11 Commission parking system control unit (N62). When replacing parking system control unit (N62).
